Development and delivery of a series of creative workshops exploring connection to memory and object through uncoventional methods of framing.
During the workshops, participants experiment with alternative ways to display and celebrate keepsakes by playing with scale, colour, texture and embellishment. Thinking about frames not simply as functional objects for display but extensions of our sentimental items and their stories, and ways to express who we are within our spaces.
Using vintage and second-hand frames and fabrics sourced from local shops and markets, participants engage with materials that already carry their own histories and further embellish them to continue the story.
