Creative consultancy for visual artist Lakwena, collaborating to develop concepts for an immersive installation across the interior and exterior of auction house Christie’s London headquarters during Frieze Week.
The ideas for the work centred on exchange and connection, intrinsic elements of the art world which are also synonymous with human relationships.
The installation covered the entire surface of the foyer and continued up the central staircase. It also extended across the interior, covering stonework and windows as well as a customised flag. The interior carpets featured the artist’s signature imagery and messaging, creating the feeling of movement through her dynamic use of shape and colour.
